Maturing Silence →
We don’t like when God is silent.
We aren’t overjoyed when it seems as if He isn’t listening.
We want to feel Him.
We want to hear Him.
We want to see Him moving every second of every day.
We want the little reminders that He is paying attention.
We want our prayers answered, our sickness healed and His blessings to fill our lives.
We want the goosebumps, the tears, the overwhelming feeling that He is right there with us.
We want to sense His presence, hear His whispers and know that He is near.
Deep down, we believe following Him means we will always feel Him.
Unfortunately, faith doesn’t really work that way.
